We are in our second year of using Apreso. In the beginning we had some hardware and software issues to press out. Anystream was helpful and once all the issues were taken compassionate of the system worked very well. However there is only one professor making use of it for three sections of his evidence categorise three days a week. I’m almost afraid to say it but it has worked flawlessly this semester.
Probably the biggest drawback with Apreso is the need for a interpret station computer separate from the podium computer. For us this means only one classroom has use of it. Also we undergo not yet been able to get Apresos to affix to the university Blackboard system. However we have been able to send links to TWEN.
This semester we are running head-to-head tests between Apreso and Tegrity. I have open that Tegrity is not as easy to manage as Apreso but the Tegrity folks have been very helpful. The end product is pretty much the same for both Apreso and Tegrity although Tegrity makes podcasting easier. Also. Tegrity does not demand a dedicated capture displace.

We are currently in the process ofimplementing the Tegrity system and so far they have been extremely helpful ingetting us up and running. One of the biggest plusses is that Tegrity integrateswith most CMS systems; we are using Jenzabar a CMS that they undergo not integratedbefore but have spent a lot of measure to get the code alter in request for thesystems to bring home the bacon together.
